As the 2012 Democratic Convention moves into its final day, here’s a look back at some of the best moments of night two of the convention:

Best Speech: Former President Bill Clinton, who must have Team Romney kicking themselves for their curious decision to praise him effusively throughout the campaign.

Best Prediction: James Carville, who correctly suggested last month that Sister Simone Campbell and the “Nuns On The Bus” should be invited to the Democratic Convention.

Best One-Liner: “Heck, he appointed Hillary” – Clinton, explaining that President Obama is willing to put political divisions behind him.

Loudest Ovation: President Barack Obama, who sent the crowd into a frenzy when he joined Clinton on stage at the end of the night.

Biggest Surprise: George W. Bush has now gotten more applause at the Democratic Convention than he did in Tampa. After being almost completely ignored by his own party, Bush received a warm ovation from the Democrats after Clinton lauded his work on PEPFAR.

Sharpest Attack: Elizabeth Warren, who slammed Mitt Romney’s famous “corporations are people” remark.

No, Governor Romney, corporations are not people. People have hearts, they have kids, they get jobs, they get sick, they cry, they dance. They live, they love, and they die. And that matters. That matters because we don’t run this country for corporations, we run it for people. And that’s why we need Barack Obama.

Biggest Loser: Paul Ryan, who will never again be labeled as a serious policy wonk now that Clinton’s done with him.
